## Description

The Japanese Midwives Association is a pivotal organization dedicated to supporting expectant mothers and enhancing the profession of midwifery in Japan. Notably celebrated for organizing the "Good Birth Day" event on November 3rd, the association promotes community engagement through initiatives like the "Hear Me, My Birth" photo and haiku contest, inviting birth stories and creative expressions from parents and their families.

Beyond events, the association actively provides resources and services, including a comprehensive directory of midwifery facilities, counseling support, and education on maternal care. They also advocate for policy improvements and contribute to disaster response efforts. Their commitment to the advancement of midwifery is reflected in training sessions, scholarships for aspiring midwives, and the production of guidelines and publications aimed at raising awareness and standards within the field.

With a vision for a supportive and informed maternal care environment, the Japanese Midwives Association is a trusted ally for families and professionals in navigating the journey of childbirth.
