## Description

Impaired Sports Association of Hong Kong China Limited, formerly known as the Hong Kong Impaired Golfers Association, is an organization dedicated to helping people with physical impairments participate in and excel at golf. The association changed its name in June 2024. Its mission is to provide equal opportunities for impaired golfers to enjoy the sport and play alongside golfers without disabilities.

The association offers a pathway for participants to develop their golf skills through coaching, practice sessions and competitions. Its work also includes supporting blind golfers, for whom taking up the game can open new experiences and possibilities. Beyond learning to play, participants are encouraged to build physical capabilities and self-efficacy through golf. The association aims to help golfers reach a level at which they can represent Hong Kong and compete internationally with other physically challenged golfers. By bringing people with and without disabilities together through sport, it seeks to promote social integration and provide visible examples of what impaired athletes can achieve.
