For more than 30 years, its members have researched, preserved and shared the area’s cultural heritage, guided by the idea that heritage is a shared past. The association brings local history to life through publications, talks, excursions, themed gatherings, member meetings and guided city walks led by its Stadsherauten. Its collection includes objects, documents, newspapers, photographs and films, including historical footage made by Steenbergen resident Henk van Mechelen, now available through the association’s YouTube channel. The group also produces books and other publications, such as a commemorative booklet featuring 750 facts and anecdotes about Steenbergen. Its programme explores subjects including archaeology, local history, dialect and genealogy, creating opportunities for learning and community exchange. Residents and visitors can connect with the association at public events or visit its welcome location at Steenbergen Library. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/heemkundekringdesteenenkamer) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCw6OZT2XxWSjGynOnsEQAAA) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idLBz0ELi-/w/1000/h/1000/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792838093673) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idLBz0ELi-/w/1200/h/1200/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792838094010) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Flame Pea | #e36533 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #2b2b2b | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - ‘Antonio’ — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
