## Description

Hixson Metal Finishing (HMF) is a metal finishing company focused on supporting aerospace and defense customers. The company describes its approach as grounded in excellence, integrity, and accountability, and serves both small shops and major industry organizations, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Parker Hannifin.

HMF offers a range of metal finishing services. These include anodizing, which thickens a metal part’s natural oxide layer; plating, which deposits a metal coating onto a conductive surface; and chemical conversion coating, or Chemfilm, primarily for aluminum. Its services also include aerospace and defense painting, with multiple paint booths and curing ovens for high-volume work, as well as non-destructive testing to assess materials and components without damaging them. HMF provides additional special processes and says it can consider adding processes to meet customer requirements.

The company highlights environmental stewardship through air pollution control equipment, ULPA filtration, and practices intended to exceed air quality standards. With extensive collective experience among its leadership and employees, HMF emphasizes careful, customer-focused service.
