Heart of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, is an esteemed brand that has been serving the community since 1916. Their mission is to prepare young people in eastern Kansas and western Missouri to make ethical choices throughout their lives by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. The council offers a range of programs for boys and girls of different age groups.

Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Scouts BSA provides youth ages 11-18 with outdoor adventures and peer leadership opportunities. Venturing is a coed program focused on outdoor activities and hobby exploration.

Exploring offers young adults ages 14-20 real-life career exploration in collaboration with businesses and local schools. The Heart of America Council is authorized by the National Council to provide Scouting services and support to the local community. With a team of dedicated volunteers and professionals, they offer registration, advancement programs, training, camping facilities, and much more to ensure a comprehensive and enriching Scouting experience.
