## Description

Hockey Manitoba is the provincial governing organization for hockey in Manitoba, supporting players, coaches, officials, teams, and local member associations. Its programs span the player journey, from getting started through initiatives such as NHL/NHLPA First Shift and Esso Fun Days to development pathways, competitive opportunities, and lifelong participation. The organization offers coach education, clinics, certification resources, screening guidance, and support for team officials and safety personnel. For officials, it provides clinics, rulebook and pathway information, and resources recognizing their contribution to the game.

Hockey Manitoba also coordinates development and competition programs, including the Program of Excellence, regional development, Team Manitoba, provincial tournaments, leagues, and girls’ hockey initiatives. Its services extend to member administration, insurance information, grants and funding, travel permits, and governance resources. Safety and inclusion are central areas of support, with information on concussion awareness, mental health, Respect in Sport, and safe sport. Hockey Manitoba shares news, events, coaching updates, and community stories, and provides calendars, contact information, and resources for participants and associations across the province.
