## Description

Hockey Saskatchewan is the governing body for organized hockey in Saskatchewan. Established in 1912, it is the province’s largest sports organization, with more than 45,000 members, including players, coaches and officials. Its mission is to lead, develop and promote positive hockey experiences, encouraging participation and competition from recreational play to high-performance programs.

The organization supports hockey at every stage, offering age-based resources for young players, grassroots and female hockey programs, para hockey development, and pathways such as Sask First and Team Saskatchewan. It provides coaching clinics, mentorship, training requirements and development resources, alongside officiating programs for new and returning officials. Members and associations can also access governance guidance, registration support, safe sport information, insurance resources and tools for managing leagues and tournaments.

Hockey Saskatchewan connects communities through events including provincial playoffs and Hockey Day in Saskatchewan, and shares news, videos, webinars and event listings. It also recognizes contributions through awards, scholarships and the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame.
