## Description

HockeyZonePlus is a comprehensive online resource dedicated to the historical salary data of NHL players, coaches, and officials. The platform features an extensive database that aggregates salary information from various reputable sources, including The Hockey News and USA Today, as well as numerous podcasts and publications. With a focus on transparency, HockeyZonePlus actively seeks contributions from fans and experts, particularly for salary data predating 1989, which remains largely undisclosed.

In addition to player salaries, the site offers insights into franchise values, career earnings, and a unique "NHL Fortune" feature that outlines total earnings in today's dollars for comparative analysis. The database includes a glossary that explains salary metrics, including rank comparisons and percentage changes year-over-year. Notably, HockeyZonePlus operates independently from the NHL and its associated entities, providing a platform for research and a deeper understanding of the financial aspects of professional hockey. Whether you’re a fan, researcher, or sports analyst, HockeyZonePlus is an invaluable resource for examining the economics of the game.
