## Description

Hoefsmederij Dries Boink is an equine farriery serving Gilze, Rijen, Breda, Tilburg and the wider Midden-Brabant region of the Netherlands. Owner Dries Boink has worked in the profession since 1994 and has been a qualified farrier since 1997. He brings experience with dressage, show jumping and eventing horses, from recreational animals to high-level sport horses, and is affiliated with the Dutch Association of Farriers (NVvH).

The business provides hoof trimming and shoeing for horses and ponies, with comfort, functionality and injury prevention guiding its approach. Rather than applying a standard solution, Dries considers each horse’s use, hoof wear, leg alignment, movement and any injuries. Services include trimming, regular shoeing for protection or grip, and tailored or rehabilitation shoeing when there is a clear functional or medical need, potentially in consultation with a veterinarian.

Careful, safe handling is central to each appointment, and owners are asked to provide a calm, manageable horse and a clean, dry, level, well-lit work area.
