## Description

Hoefsmederij Prins is a family-run farriery based in Sint Nicolaasga, Friesland, serving clients across the region. Wietse and Martha Prins have operated the business since 1987, bringing nearly 40 years of experience to horse and pony care. Wietse is a government-certified farrier who trims and shoes animals, while Martha manages appointments, bookkeeping and other business operations. Their approach is customer-focused, with the animal’s wellbeing at the heart of each visit. They pay particular attention to hoof balance, aiming to help horses move comfortably and perform their work while reducing the risk of injury. The business serves owners with everything from a single pony to larger stables and is available seven days a week for emergencies. In addition to farriery, Hoefsmederij Prins offers wedding and woodland carriage rides using a pair of Friesian horses. These rides can provide distinctive wedding transport or a way to enjoy the countryside and forests around Sint Nicolaasga. Customers can contact the team to arrange an appointment or enquire about ride options and availability.
