Hoefzorg Rachelle provides professional hoof care for horses and ponies in and around Ingen, Gelderland, serving the Betuwe and Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Founded from a passion for horses and their wellbeing, the business takes an individual approach, considering each horse’s stance, movement and hooves when planning a trim. The goal is to support comfortable, functional movement and maintain hoof health, balance and condition. Rachelle completed her hoof specialist studies at the Centrum voor Hoefgezondheid in May 2025.

Services include regular trimming for horses and ponies, generally scheduled every four to six weeks, with intervals adjusted to hoof growth, quality and the horse’s living conditions. Where extra protection or cushioning is appropriate, Hoefzorg Rachelle also offers plastic hoof protection, including for short hooves or during a transition from shoes to barefoot. Hoof boot fitting consultations are available exclusively to existing clients. These consultations consider the intended use, hoof shape and stance, and the horse’s comfort, helping owners choose protection for recovery, walks or rides while allowing the horse to remain barefoot at home.
