## Description

Hoeve Leeuwenstein is an equestrian training and learning facility led by Miranda Hofmeester. Its approach combines enjoyment, relaxation and discipline, with an emphasis on keeping horses happy, comfortable and able to behave naturally. Using principles of Academic Art of Riding, Miranda works to gymnasticise horses, improve their suppleness and support long-term wellbeing, while developing communication through the rider’s seat and reducing reliance on the reins.

The facility offers individual lessons in classical and academic riding, as well as multi-day training weekends and weekday training stays. Riders can bring their horses to Hoeve Leeuwenstein for instruction, and online lessons are also available for those unable to travel. Horse owners can arrange holiday care with accommodation in a private box and paddock, daily care and agreed training sessions. The site also welcomes trainees in animal care and equine sport and management, and has been an officially recognised SBB training company since 2018. Hoeve Leeuwenstein provides a focused setting for riders seeking to develop their skills and train their horses with care.
