## Description

Hof Schulte is a family-run equestrian facility in the Recklinghausen district of Sundern, where horses have been part of local life for more than 80 years. The farm’s history dates back to 1483, when Hermann settled nearby with his family. It was originally operated with sheep, cattle, and traditional agriculture and forestry before Werner Schulte, an enthusiastic rider and breeder, built a horse stable in the late 1960s. The facilities were later expanded and made available to local horse enthusiasts and their animals.

Today, Hof Schulte offers a stable, an 800-square-metre indoor riding arena, an outdoor riding arena set amid the surrounding countryside, and a four-horse exercise walker added in 2005. The outdoor arena was established in 1976, and the indoor arena was completed in 1999. The facility is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hof Schulte also hosts equestrian and community events, including rider-focused seminars and cultural gatherings. Located on Recklinghauser Street in Sundern-Recklinghausen, it serves riders seeking practical facilities and a welcoming setting for their horses.
