## Description

HOFAIR is a small annual open-air festival held at a farm in Dallenwil, Nidwalden, surrounded by the mountains of the Engelberg Valley. It brings together live music, a relaxed atmosphere, regional food and local beer for a one-day celebration in a distinctive rural setting. The 2027 festival is scheduled for September 4. Admission tickets are sold at the gate, with no advance sales; children aged 12 and under enter free when accompanied by an adult. The grounds are largely accessible for visitors with mobility needs.

Beyond its music programme, HOFAIR offers freshly prepared food, including cooking and grilling by Toni von Matt and his crew. The organisers highlight the use of reusable tableware as part of their effort to reduce waste. Visitors can also enjoy High 5 beers and watch local artist Adrian Gander, known as ANOY, create a live painting inspired by the festival atmosphere. Together, these elements make HOFAIR a community-focused event celebrating music, local food and drink, and art.
