## Description

Hofbräu München is a historic Bavarian brewery based in Munich, with a brewing tradition dating back to 1589. The brand combines centuries of heritage with modern brewing and celebrates Munich’s culture of hospitality and conviviality. Its beers are enjoyed at home and in venues including the Hofbräuhaus and Oktoberfest, as well as internationally.

The portfolio spans bottom-fermented beers such as Hofbräu Original, Hofbräuhaus Hell, Hofbräu Dunkel, a natural shandy and alcohol-free beer. Top-fermented options include several varieties of Münchner Weisse, including dark, crystal, light and alcohol-free versions. Seasonal offerings include Oktoberfestbier, Winterzwickl, Maibock and Sommerzwickl. Hofbräu München also provides brewery tours, where visitors can learn about the brewing process, explore the ingredients and enjoy beer with a traditional Bavarian snack.

The company highlights environmental responsibility through a climate strategy focused on avoiding, reducing and offsetting impacts. Its website also offers news, a fan shop, an online shop and information for business customers, alongside resources about the brewery’s history, brewing methods and sustainability efforts.
