## Description

The Hollister Independence Rally is an annual motorcycle event presented by the City of Hollister and Roadshows, Inc. Rooted in a tradition that began in 1947, the rally celebrates Hollister’s place in American motorcycle culture and its association with The Wild One, the 1953 film starring Marlon Brando and Lee Marvin. Motorcycle enthusiasts gather downtown over the Fourth of July weekend, with San Benito Street serving as the event’s center.

The free, public festival features motorcycles, live music, motorcycle-related vendors, festival food, and free motorcycle parking along the main street. Visitors can consult the rally’s event schedule and explore opportunities to participate as vendors, sponsors, or VIP guests. Roadshows, Inc. handles these registration and partnership inquiries.

The rally also invites visitors to experience Hollister, a city in San Benito County and a gateway to Pinnacles National Park, located near the Monterey Peninsula and Silicon Valley. With a history spanning more than 70 years, the event aims to keep a longstanding motorcycle tradition alive.
