## Description

The Hollywood Theater is a historic event venue in Northeast Minneapolis, offering an elegant Art Deco setting for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and celebrations. A neighborhood landmark since 1935, the theater was designed in the Streamline Moderne style by architects Liebenberg & Kaplan and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After closing in 1987, the building was faithfully restored and reimagined as a distinctive place to gather.

The venue combines historic details, including polished terrazzo, vintage light fixtures, a lobby fountain, original poster frames, and its marquee, with modern event amenities. Its 10,000-square-foot main event space can accommodate up to 270 guests seated or more than 500 for an open-house-style event. A 4,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard provides an additional setting. Event features include a stage, private dressing room, food preparation area, Wi-Fi, gold Chiavari chairs, and a range of tables. The marquee can be personalized for an occasion, and poster frames can display a host’s own images. The Hollywood Theater is booking events for 2026 and 2027.
