## Description

Holman United Methodist Church, known as “The Church of the Bells,” is a faith community located on West Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The church offers Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m., with options to attend in person, watch on YouTube, or listen on KJLH 102.3 FM. Its ministries include nurture, outreach, and witness programs, supported by church council initiatives and lay leadership. Holman also provides prayer resources, including the BTB Prayer Line, and shares news, worship information, event listings, and community updates through its publications and online channels.

The church’s activities extend to education, service, and civic engagement. Its offerings include Saturday School for African American History, scholarship opportunities, and monthly interfaith workshops on revolutionary nonviolent activism inspired by the legacy of Rev. James Lawson. Holman hosts events such as ballot forums, health screenings, and fundraising luncheons, and provides facilities, forms, and ways to contribute. Through these programs and services, Holman brings worship, learning, community support, and public engagement together in its Los Angeles congregation.
