## Description

Home-Start UK is a charity and community network supporting families with young children through challenging times. Its trained volunteers and expert staff work alongside parents to provide compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental help, recognising that every family may need support at some point. The aim is to help children get the best start in life and enable parents to regain confidence and feel better equipped to care for their families.

Families can find local Home-Start services, explore available support and make a referral. The organisation also offers resources and guidance for parents, including information about Dad Matters and common parenting challenges. Support is tailored to families’ needs and may help them cope with difficult circumstances and feel less alone.

Home-Start UK invites individuals and organisations to contribute through donations, fundraising, corporate partnerships, volunteering and gifts in wills. It also runs charity shops and shares family stories, news, policy research and evaluation. Through its local network, the charity works to improve the lives of children and families across the UK.
