Homeownership SF is a coalition of experienced nonprofit housing agencies in San Francisco that provides affordable housing resources and services to renters, homebuyers, and homeowners. Founded in 2009, Homeownership SF serves as a centralized hub for local affordable housing resources, connecting individuals with education, counseling, and resources. The coalition is comprised of five local nonprofit housing organizations, including ASIAN, Inc., BALANCE, Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA), San Francisco Housing Development Corporation (SFHDC), and San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center (SFLGBT Center).

Their mission is to advance housing equity and asset building opportunities for low-to-moderate income individuals, and they strive to create a San Francisco Bay Area where residents can easily access safe, stable, and affordable housing. Homeownership SF believes in equitable access to housing, empowering communities to overcome housing disparities and discrimination. They provide individualized client support, group education, and collaborate with housing service providers to promote peer-learning and respond to emerging issues.
