## Description

The Honnold Foundation is a brand dedicated to reducing environmental impact and addressing inequality through its support of solar energy initiatives worldwide. They believe in small, deliberate steps that can help achieve audacious goals. Their vision is to create a world where marginalized communities lead the transition to renewable energy, with the necessary resources to adapt and thrive. The foundation awards grants to community organizations that have innovative, equity-focused projects with the potential to shift the narrative on energy access globally. Founded in 2012 by professional rock climber Alex Honnold, the Honnold Foundation started with a focus on solar energy due to its tangible and universally effective nature. They support projects that increase climate resilience, promote social and economic equity, reduce environmental impact, and improve people's lives. Despite their humble beginnings in Alex Honnold's van, the foundation remains committed to their values of achieving audacious goals through small, deliberate steps. With a dedicated team and a focus on building a brighter and more equitable world for everyone, the Honnold Foundation aims to make a meaningful impact in the transition to renewable energy.
