## Description

**Brand Description: Honys Torres**

Honys Torres is an innovative Venezuelan artist renowned for her eclectic approach to visual art, encompassing painting, photography, sculpture, and drawing. Born in 1969 in Caracas, Torres uses iconic imagery as the foundation of her artistic research, addressing critical themes such as power, stereotypes, and contemporary beauty standards. After initially pursuing computer science, she transitioned to law, where her studies ignited her passion for art as a medium to explore social, political, and equity issues.

Relocating to Germany in 2002 introduced Torres to new cultural influences, shaping her Neo Pop aesthetic characterized by vibrant colors and pop culture iconography. Her works, often organized in collections, invite deep reflection on the complexities of modern society. Since moving to Switzerland in 2018, she has developed a dialogue between diverse monuments and fictional characters, enriching her narrative style. Honys Torres's artwork is displayed in both public and private collections worldwide, solidifying her presence in the contemporary art scene.
