## Description

Hood Tennis is a community-focused charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales. It supports young people with education and career choices, while encouraging people of all ages to stay active, with tennis at the heart of its work. The organisation aims to foster community spirit, physical and mental fitness, and a focus on achievement, while creating opportunities through sport and community projects.

Hood Tennis runs projects for children in London and supports communities in Africa. Its work in Sagbama, Nigeria, and Boza, Uganda, aims to improve classroom facilities by providing essentials such as tables, chairs, books, pens, whiteboards and teaching aids, as well as helping repair deteriorating buildings. The charity also organises programmes, events and tournaments, including activities for adults, and invites supporters to take part in fundraising initiatives such as the Ealing Half Marathon. Its Night of the Stars event celebrates members of the Hood Tennis community and brings people together for an evening of entertainment.
