## Description

Hoof & Leaf Co. is a land-based education and consulting business in Big Timber, Montana, founded by agroecologist, cheesemaker, and soil health specialist Allison Cooley. Rooted in stewardship and traditional knowledge, the brand aims to reconnect people with the land and strengthen resilient rural communities through practical skills and regenerative agriculture.

Hoof & Leaf Co. offers hands-on workshops in ecological gardening, farmstead cheesemaking with raw milk, and preserving the harvest through canning, fermenting, and food storage. Its work is designed for people ranging from backyard gardeners to working ranchers who want to build a closer relationship with their food and landscape.

The business also hosts the Big Timber Growers Co-op, connecting customers with seasonal vegetables, meat, eggs, dairy, and handmade goods from local producers, with pickup in Big Timber. In addition, Cooley provides one-on-one consulting and coaching for farmers, gardeners, land stewards, and horse owners. Support can include soil improvement, grazing plans, and practical approaches to building resilience, with consultations available locally or online.
