## Description

Hoosier Appaloosa Association (HAA) is an Indiana regional affiliate of the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), serving Appaloosa horse owners, exhibitors, and enthusiasts. The association provides a community for people interested in the breed and organizes activities and events, including its featured Freedom Special show. The show brings competitors together and is supported by fellow organizations, including the Blackhawk Appaloosa Association, Big River Bend ApHC, Great Lakes ApHC, and Ohio ApHC. HAA shares show information, including a showbill, and recognizes high-point achievements through its Freedom Special High Points program. Its 2026 Freedom Special was held April 24–26 at Cowpokes Arena at C Bar C Expo in Cloverdale, Indiana, with judges Bruce Army, Cindy Butler, Paula Gatewood, and Betsie Moore. The association welcomes new members and provides a membership application for those wishing to join. Through its show and related activities, HAA supports participation in Appaloosa horse events across Indiana.
