## Description

Hopa is an Israeli social-technology initiative supporting teenagers and young adults aged 14–26 as they navigate education, service, work, and independent life. Active for more than a decade, it combines personal guidance with digital tools to identify needs early, maintain contact, and connect young people with relevant opportunities. Hopa works alongside school teams in 27 schools across Israel, from the Galilee to the Negev, helping identify students who may benefit from additional support and tailor referrals using insights from students, parents, and educators.

For graduates, Hopa provides continued guidance after school, helping them find their way among existing services rather than replacing those organizations. Its online directory brings together more than 600 programs, scholarships, and other opportunities for young people, including support related to education, financial assistance, housing, mental health, and national service. Follow-up and automated WhatsApp and email communications help maintain connections over time. Hopa also works with a nationwide community of school-based coordinators and offers programs approved through Israel’s Ministry of Education Geffen system.
