## Description

Hopkins Fastpitch is a community-based fastpitch softball association dedicated to providing a fun and casual environment for girls in the Hopkins School District to learn and develop their skills in the game of fastpitch softball. As the only association of its kind in the district, Hopkins Fastpitch offers age-appropriate programs for girls ranging from Kindergarten up to age 16. Through their programs, Hopkins Fastpitch aims to teach girls the proper fundamentals of the game from an early age, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development. The association fields softball teams representing various communities within the Hopkins School District, including Hopkins, Minnetonka, Golden Valley, Edina, St. Louis Park, Plymouth, and Eden Prairie. In addition to providing a positive and competitive experience, Hopkins Fastpitch serves as the primary feeder program for the Hopkins High School fastpitch program, with 100% of the 2014 Hopkins High School varsity roster having played in their program.
