## Description

Kirmesgesellschaft St. Maximinus Koblenz-Horchheim e. V. is a community association that organizes the annual Horchheim fair in Mendelssohnpark, working in coordination with local clubs. The event brings the community together through food and drink stalls run by local organizations, along with music and dance performances. The association coordinates the practical work behind the celebration, including permits, supplier arrangements, schedules, raffle purchases, performers, and the festival program. Members and sponsors contribute through annual dues and volunteering, helping with setup and takedown, stall shifts, raffle activities, the traditional decorated egg crown, and the fair magazine. The association also publishes a distinctive A4 magazine documenting local fair life, with issues and historical material available through its website. Beyond the annual fair, it takes part in regional carnival parades with a walking group and themed float, and organizes Horchheim’s annual St. Martin procession and bonfire. Its website shares event dates and programs, association history, photographs, membership information, and practical details, while inviting residents to volunteer or join.
