## Description

Ellingson-DTD, also known as Directed Technologies Drilling (DTD), specializes in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for environmental, water resource, and subsurface infrastructure projects. Since 1996, the company has developed and applied techniques for installing and developing horizontal wells, particularly for remediation and water resource applications. Its services include soil vapor extraction, free product recovery, soil venting and biosparging, air sparging, groundwater extraction, water resource well investigation and maintenance, and utility installation.

Horizontal wells can provide efficient access to subsurface areas, extend the zone of influence for remediation, and be installed beneath obstacles while limiting disruption at the surface. DTD also delivers pipeline HDD services and supports complex project coordination. The company works with engineering professionals to address site-specific remediation, water resource, and infrastructure challenges.

Safety is a stated priority: employees complete OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and annual eight-hour refresher training. With offices in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and California, Ellingson-DTD has completed projects across 43 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Europe, and Japan.
