## Description

Hornsea Rotary is the Rotary Club of Hornsea & East Riding, a local community organisation connected with Rotary International and active in East Yorkshire. The club brings together members who contribute their time and enthusiasm to community activities, fundraising and social events, while promoting Rotary and encouraging others to get involved. Its work has included support for initiatives such as ShelterBox and AquaBox, and its programme features events including the Last Night of the Proms. The club also provides opportunities to learn about Rotary’s aims and activities and to explore becoming a member of this international service organisation. In 2026–27, President Maung Maung will lead the club, following Peter Chicken’s term as its 34th president. The club welcomes enquiries from people interested in Rotary in the local community and offers a direct way to find out more about participation. Through its events, fundraising and community initiatives, Hornsea Rotary aims to make a positive local contribution and keep Rotary relevant for the future.
