## Description

Race Horse Death Watch, initiated by Animal Aid during the 2007 Cheltenham Festival, serves as a critical resource for documenting and raising awareness about thoroughbred fatalities at British racing events. With a mission to expose the grim realities of horse racing, the platform meticulously records every on-course death, providing transparency and accountability in the industry.

The Death Watch includes detailed reports and analysis, allowing users to filter data by racing course or by jockey, thus shedding light on patterns and trends within the sport. This valuable tool not only informs racing enthusiasts but also advocates for animal welfare, emphasizing the need for reforms and improved safety standards in horse racing.

By providing insights into the alarming rate of racehorse fatalities—3,853 dead in 6,340 days—Race Horse Death Watch aims to stir public consciousness and encourage action toward more humane practices in equestrian sports. Join the movement to protect these majestic creatures and demand accountability within the racing industry.
