## Description

Hort Innovation, also known as Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited, is owned by growers and works to strengthen Australian horticulture. It invests grower levies and Australian Government contributions in research and development, marketing, trade, and industry insights, aiming to lift productivity, build resilience, and create long-term value across the sector.

The organisation supports a broad range of horticultural industries, including almonds, apples and pears, avocados, bananas, berries, cherries, chestnuts, and citrus. Its work includes crop protection research, integrated pest management, advisory projects, and independent reviews to help ensure investments reflect industry priorities and deliver value. Hort Innovation also connects growers and industry representatives with consultation opportunities to shape future investment.

Through Hort IQ, users can access consumer and market insights, industry statistics, project summaries, research reports, and practical guides. The Australian Horticulture Statistics Handbook covers production, trade, processing, and fresh-market performance across 75 categories. Its Frontiers initiative partners with local and global innovators and attracts co-investment to advance practical ideas for growers.
