## Description

Horwich Cycling Club is a community cycling club based in Horwich, a small town on the outskirts of the West Pennine Moors. Founded in 1934, the club has a long racing history that remains an active part of its identity. It represents the town and organises more than five races each year.

The club welcomes riders of all ages and cycling backgrounds. Its members take part in a variety of cycling disciplines, riding and racing throughout the year. New members can benefit from the experience and knowledge of fellow cyclists, with support to get started, train effectively and develop as riders or racers.

Horwich Cycling Club also offers opportunities to connect beyond the bike. Members enjoy social gatherings and organised cycling holidays, alongside the club’s rides and racing activities. Its website provides information about the club’s history, rides, races, social events and membership, helping prospective members discover how to get involved.
