# HOSM History - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `hosmhistory.org` ## Description Holme on Spalding Moor Local History Society is a community organisation established in August 2013 to encourage interest in the history and archaeology of Holme on Spalding Moor and the surrounding area. It welcomes people of all ages and works to build a historical archive documenting the parish and its heritage. The archive project invites donations of photographs, documents, records and other evidence relating to local history. The Society holds regular meetings on the third Monday of each month, except December, featuring talks and presentations. It also arranges projects, events and outings throughout the year in response to members’ interests, research and opportunities.
