About Supportive Care of Orleans

Supportive Care of Orleans is a community-based organization dedicated to providing compassionate care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses in Orleans County, as well as their caregivers and loved ones. Our mission is to ensure that each patient receives personalized medical treatment, counseling, and spiritual support, along with bereavement coordination. At Supportive Care of Orleans, we believe in the power of community.

We offer face-to-face support and grief counseling to anyone in our community who has recently experienced a loss, regardless of their previous connection to hospice. We consider each patient to be a part of our family, and we deeply care for both their physical and emotional well-being. Our organization is supported by a team of over 165 volunteers who are the heartbeat of our operation.

They provide invaluable assistance in delivering our services and supporting our patients and their families. For those who are unable to remain in their current residence due to advanced illness, our Martin-Linsin Residence serves as a comforting home away from home. This residential facility offers a peaceful and nurturing environment to ensure the highest quality of care.

At Supportive Care of Orleans, we value the right of our patients to enjoy the best quality of life possible, to remain at home for as long as feasible, and to experience pain relief. We also promise ongoing emotional and practical support for families, respite care for caregivers, and assistance throughout the grieving process. To learn more about our services, volunteer opportunities, or to make a donation, please visit our website or contact us directly.
