## Description

Stichting Hospice Zeewolde is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to compassionate, dignified and person-centred care for people in the final phase of life in Zeewolde. Its long-term goal is to establish a “Bijna Thuis Huis,” a hospice-style home where people can receive care close to their community. In the meantime, the foundation provides palliative home support through VPTZ Zeewolde.

Its specially trained volunteers visit clients in their own homes, offering time, attention and practical support while respecting each person’s lifestyle, beliefs and dignity. They also support family members and other informal caregivers, who may find the demands of end-of-life care difficult. The service is intended to help people receive compassionate support in the familiar surroundings of home.

Stichting Hospice Zeewolde welcomes volunteers who want to contribute their time and care, and it relies on donations to continue its work and pursue its hospice plans. The foundation is recognised as an ANBI, a Dutch public-benefit organisation, so donations may be tax-deductible under applicable rules.
