## Description

Host Defense is a brand that bridges the gap between science and nature's wisdom. Founded by renowned mycologist Paul Stamets, Host Defense specializes in mushroom mycelium-based supplements that support natural immunity and overall wellness. As one of the best-documented and longest-standing mushroom supplement companies in the USA, Host Defense is proud to be the #1 best-selling mushroom supplement brand in the U.S. At Host Defense, all their product development and formulation are based on scientifically validated data, ensuring the quality and efficacy of their supplements. Their mushroom mycelium and fruit bodies are grown on their own farm in Washington state and are certified organic, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free. Independent labs verify the identity, purity, composition, and strength of all their supplements, using internationally recognized testing methods. Host Defense is committed to research and innovation, constantly striving to find new ways to bridge the gap between human health and beneficial mushrooms. They have dedicated teams of mycologists, medical professionals, biologists, chemists, researchers, and educators. One of the significant outcomes of their research is the discovery of the value of using mushroom mycelium. Mycelium, the longest living part of the mushroom organism, offers significant immunological support. That's why Host Defense uses mushroom mycelium in all their supplements - because it works! Paul Stamets, the founder of Host Defense and a world-renowned expert in mycology, believes that mushrooms are vital to a healthy immune response in both people and habitats. He has dedicated over 40 years to discovering, understanding, and spreading knowledge about the power and potential of beneficial mushrooms and mushroom mycelium. Under his visionary leadership, Host Defense has made significant breakthroughs in the use of fungi for various applications, including water filtration, ecological rehabilitation, and supplements for human and planetary health. By purchasing Host Defense Mushrooms products, you not only support their mission to reduce carbon emissions but also contribute to research efforts aimed at protecting bees from colony collapse and conserving rare mushroom species in old-growth forests. Host Defense truly embodies the integration of science, innovation, and nature's wisdom.
