## Description

HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc. is a biotechnology company focused on discovering medicines for autoimmune diseases through a distinct approach to allosteric drug discovery. The company’s work centers on “natural hotspots,” molecular on/off switches in proteins that are important to their normal functions and may provide opportunities to influence disease biology. Its Smart Allostery™ platform combines structure-function research, advanced pharmacology, tailored chemistry, and artificial intelligence to identify and develop compounds that target these sites.

HotSpot uses this platform to pursue novel allosteric medicines, with research programs including a small-molecule inhibitor of IRF5. The company shares preclinical research and development updates through scientific presentations, press releases, publications, and its blog. Its pipeline reflects a discovery and development focus rather than a portfolio of consumer products or currently advertised treatments. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, HotSpot Therapeutics also provides information about its science, pipeline, team, and career opportunities, and invites visitors to subscribe to its newsletter or contact the company directly.
