## Description

Hourglass (Safer Ageing) is a dedicated charity focusing on the safety and well-being of older people across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. With a steadfast commitment to promoting safer aging, Hourglass provides crucial support and resources to address and combat various types of abuse that older adults may face. Their offerings include a 24/7 helpline for immediate assistance, alongside initiatives aimed at raising awareness about elder abuse through educational webinars, policy research, and community events.

The organization actively encourages public engagement and participation, urging individuals to get involved and support their campaigns, like the OATH (Older People Abused and Taken for granted) initiative, which aims to amplify the voices of older citizens and advocate for their rights. At Hourglass, every aspect of their work is rooted in the desire to create a secure environment where seniors can thrive, ensuring that their dignity and safety are prioritized within society.
