## Description

Bert Ouellette is a Connecticut-registered, Orvis-endorsed fly fishing guide specializing in drift boat trips on the Housatonic River. With more than 25 years of guiding experience, he takes clients fishing for trout, northern pike, bass, and carp, and welcomes both beginners and experienced anglers. Trips can focus on catching a memorable fish, improving casting, learning specific techniques, exploring larger waters, or simply enjoying a day on the river. Bert also offers first-time fly fishing lessons and enjoys helping clients build their skills.

Guided outings on the Housatonic provide a Western-style float fishing experience in Connecticut, with access near towns including Cornwall, Sharon, Warren, and Washington. Bert also guides on the Upper Delaware River in the Catskills, where anglers can pursue wild trout using dry flies and streamers. His trips combine fishing, instruction, and time outdoors, with an emphasis on making the day enjoyable and memorable. Bert’s guiding service offers trout fishing and pike and bass fishing trips, along with information, reports, photographs, and client reviews to help anglers plan their experience.
