# House of Hope - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `houseofhope.co.nz` ## Description House of Hope is a private residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre based in Auckland, New Zealand, serving people from across the country. Established by Jacobus Badenhorst, who has personal experience with alcohol rehabilitation, the centre is run by medical professionals and counsellors. Its approach combines support for addiction with attention to physical and mental wellbeing, in a caring residential setting. House of Hope offers programmes for alcohol dependency and drug dependency, with treatment that may include detox support, a 12-step programme, therapy sessions, yoga, and mental health and nutrition information. Residents stay at the centre throughout treatment, with a small number of patients admitted at a time and a private room for each person. The centre also provides aftercare to support recovery after returning home, as well as family support. House of Hope invites people seeking help to contact its team for a confidential, commitment-free discussion.
