## Description

Housing Choices Australia is an independent, not-for-profit housing provider helping people who face barriers to finding a home in the private rental market. It provides safe, quality, affordable housing for people on low to moderate incomes and people with disability, with the aim of supporting comfortable living and a sense of community.

The organisation offers social and affordable housing, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and housing services. As a registered NDIS SDA provider, it develops accessible homes designed to support people with disability to live independently. Its team works with participants, families and partners, while residents can choose their own support provider and have a say in selecting a home that suits their needs. SDA homes are independently assessed against relevant design standards, and the organisation states that its services comply with NDIS requirements.

Housing Choices Australia also undertakes housing development and manages a national property portfolio. Its homes are maintained with attention to sustainability and a range of resident needs.
