Housing Europe is the European Federation of Public, Cooperative, and Social Housing. Established in 1988, it is a network of 46 national and regional federations, representing approximately 43,000 housing providers from 25 countries. Together, these providers manage around 25 million homes. With a significant impact, Housing Europe oversees 43,000 local housing organizations, maintains nearly 25 million dwellings, completes around 200,000 new dwellings each year, refurbishes over 200,000 dwellings annually, and facilitates approximately €40 billion in new investments yearly. Their network employs more than 7,500 staff directly and supports over 300,000 staff employed by local housing providers.
