## Description

Houston Ice Theatre Skaters (HITS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2003 and based in Houston, Texas. Training at Memorial City, HITS brings skaters together to perform and compete in Theatre on Ice, a discipline that combines figure skating, dance, and theatrical presentation to create entertaining programs. The sport welcomes participants of different ages and skating levels, with teams competing at U.S. Figure Skating-sanctioned events.

HITS has competed at national and international levels and is a two-time National Champion. In 2024, the U.S. Figure Skating Theatrical Skating Committee selected the team to represent Team USA in the Open Division at the Nations Cup/Gold Cup in Bordeaux, France. The organization offers team auditions and shares information for prospective members, including eligibility requirements. Its website also features team member information, season photos and videos dating back to 2018, and details about fundraising. HITS invites interested skaters and supporters to connect with the organization for audition information and updates.
