## Description

Howloween is an annual Halloween-themed furry event serving the Metro Vancouver community and welcoming furries and friends of all ages, interests, and backgrounds. Organized by Howl Events BC Association, it began in 2002 as a basement Halloween party and has grown into a convention while keeping its signature mix of spooky atmosphere and friendly social fun.

Howloween 2026: Project Chimera is scheduled for October 22–25 at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, British Columbia. The four-day, three-night event offers a full Dealers Den featuring furry artists and vendors, three DJ-hosted dances, fursuit games, art activities, game shows, panels, and plenty of space to gather and socialize. Its program also includes special guests, an artist alley, an after-dark market, a dance competition, a charity, and other themed events. Attendees can take part in public-friendly costumes or simply wear everyday clothes; an open mind and enthusiasm for a good time are all that is required. Howloween invites visitors to enjoy a distinctive, community-focused celebration with a spooky twist.
