## Description

The Hunt, Point and Retrieve Gundog Association (HPRGA) is a member-supported organisation dedicated to promoting and protecting the gundog breeds that hunt, point and retrieve. Recognised by the Kennel Club since 2013, the Association grew from a group of enthusiasts who trained their dogs for both field work and the show ring. Today, it brings together owners and supporters interested in these breeds and their activities.

HPRGA provides information about the breeds, its committee, constitution, code of ethics and policies, alongside news, results, reports and useful links. It organises events for members and the wider gundog community, including working events and field trials, with a schedule featuring novice, all-aged and open stakes. The Association also shares updates, articles and details of forthcoming activities through regular newsletters and website emails.

Annual membership is open to applicants whose submissions are considered by the Association. Members receive priority for HPRGA events and reduced entry fees for certain activities. The organisation is managed and supported by its members, with working events sponsored by WorkingHPRs.com.
