## Description

The Hellenic Philatelic Society is a Greek cultural organization dedicated to philately and serving collectors since 1925. Registered as a cultural body with Greece’s Ministry of Culture and Sports, it supports the study, appreciation, and exchange of knowledge about stamps and postal history. Its activities bring together members and enthusiasts through talks, meetings, exhibitions, presentations, and online events, with gatherings held at its club premises in central Athens.

The Society publishes Philoteleia, a bimonthly philatelic journal distributed free to members, and offers books, reprints, indexes, and other specialist publications. Its resources include a library and digital library, alongside information about Greek and international philatelic organizations and exhibitions. Services and initiatives include philatelic expertise, a stamp booklet service, awards, and support for collectors and exhibitors. The Society also documents its history, notable philatelists, past exhibitions, and developments in Greek philately. Through its publications, educational events, collections, and exhibition programs, it helps preserve and share the cultural and historical significance of stamps and postal materials.
