## Description

The ICO/IARC Information Centre on HPV and Cancer is a collaborative initiative of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). It aims to support the development and introduction of human papillomavirus (HPV) prevention strategies and help reduce cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases worldwide.

The Centre provides a resource for statistics, scientific reviews, regional reports and other information about HPV. Its data cover the burden of cancers associated with HPV, including cancers of the cervix, anus, vulva, vagina, penis, oral cavity and pharynx. The website also presents information on HPV prevalence and types, HPV in men, factors contributing to cervical cancer, prevention practices, vaccine licensure and introduction, and immunization coverage. Additional resources include socio-demographic, sexual behaviour and reproductive health indicators, alongside project materials, publications and an interactive summary course.
