HSA (Harvard Student Agencies) is a non-profit organization founded in 1957 with a mission to provide Harvard College students with experiential, educational, and business opportunities. With 13 businesses operating across various industries, HSA offers students the unique chance to manage businesses in retail, publishing, research, advertising, engineering, and more, making a tangible impact on the Harvard community. HSA employs over 700 students, providing them with competitive wages to help defray the costs of education.

Through their work at HSA, students gain valuable hands-on business experience, empowering them to become the next generation of business leaders. The organization's history is rooted in the idea of financing education through student employment. Concerned about the increasing costs of higher education, HSA was created to mitigate the potential adverse effects on Harvard's applicant pool.

What started with a $7,000 initial investment and the acquisition of the rights to provide a weekly linen service has now grown into a thriving enterprise.
