## Description

The Georgia High School Football Historians Association (HSFHA-GA) is a chapter of the High School Football Historians Association, dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of high school football. The project began in 2003 as a resource focused on Georgia and has since expanded into a shared website covering nine states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Its online archive organizes historical information through sections for schools, coaches, seasons, venues, locations, players, organizations, authorities, and news, with search tools to help visitors explore the records. The site’s development reflects contributions from volunteers and supporters, and the association invites people interested in high school football history to help maintain and improve its state data. No special experience is required, and even a few hours of volunteer work each month can help. HSFHA also welcomes interest in adding other states when contributors can provide a foundation of historical data. The project aims to make information about high school football history accessible in one consolidated resource.
